Shibukawa is a city located in the Gunma Prefecture of Japan. As of August 31, 2020, the city had an estimated population of 76,098 residents living in 32,439 households. It covers a total area of 240.27 square kilometres, resulting in a population density of approximately 320 inhabitants per square kilometre.
The city is notably home to Ikaho Onsen, which serves as a popular hot spring resort. This destination is one of the primary geographic and cultural features associated with the Shibukawa region.
