Shikokuchūō is a city located in the Ehime Prefecture of Japan. As of August 31, 2022, the city had an estimated population of 83,635 residing in 28,876 households. It covers a total area of 421.24 square kilometres (162.64 sq mi) with a population density of approximately 200 persons per km².
The city serves as one of the major industrial centers within Ehime Prefecture and functions as an important port city. It is notably recognized as the leading producer of paper and paper products in Japan.
