Urayasu is a city located in the Chiba Prefecture of Japan. As of November 1, 2020, the city had an estimated population of 170,533 residents living in approximately 81,136 households. It covers a total area of 17.30 square kilometres, resulting in a population density of roughly 9,900 inhabitants per square kilometre.
The city is primarily recognized as the home of Tokyo Disney Resort, which officially opened in April 1983. Additionally, Urayasu serves as the headquarters for The Oriental Land Company.
