Rukban is an arid, remote geographical area located in the northeastern part of Jordan within the Mafraq Governorate. It is situated adjacent to the international border between Jordan and Syria, positioned in close proximity to the tripoint where the borders of Jordan, Syria, and Iraq meet.
The region is characterized by its desert landscape and isolated location. Due to its remote setting near these international boundaries, it serves as a significant geographical point in the Syrian Desert.
