Port Antonio is the capital of the parish of Portland, located on the northeastern coast of Jamaica. It is situated approximately 100 km from the national capital, Kingston.

The town serves as a significant maritime hub and is recognized as the island's third largest port. It is well known as a primary shipping point for agricultural exports, specifically bananas and coconuts. Additionally, Port Antonio is one of Jamaica's most important tourist attractions, with tourism serving as a major contributor to the local economy.
