St Helier is the capital and largest settlement of Jersey, which is the largest of the Channel Islands located in the English Channel. As the only town in Jersey, it serves as the primary urban center for the island.

The city is the most populous of Jersey's twelve parishes, housing a population of 35,822, which accounts for over one-third of the island's total residents. The built-up area of St Helier includes First Tower and extends into parts of the parishes of St Saviour and St Clement, with additional suburbs located in the surrounding parishes.
