Thurii, also referred to by some Latin writers as Thūrium and later known during Roman times as Cōpia or Cōpiae, was an ancient Greek city located on the Gulf of Taranto. It is situated near or on the site of the renowned ancient city of Sybaris, a location it is often considered to have replaced.
The ruins of Thurii are currently preserved within the Sybaris archaeological park. This site is located near Sibari in the Province of Cosenza, in the Calabria region of Italy.
