San Mauro di Saline is a comune located in the Province of Verona within the Veneto region of Italy. Geographically, it is situated approximately 90 kilometres west of Venice and about 20 kilometres northeast of the city of Verona.
The municipality is a member of the Thirteen Communities, a specific group of villages characterized by their historical linguistic heritage. These communities are notable for being the traditional territory where the Cimbrian language is spoken.
