Refrontolo is a comune located in the Province of Treviso within the Veneto region of Italy. It is situated approximately 50 kilometres north of Venice and 30 kilometres north of Treviso, positioned on a hilly viewpoint between Quartier del Piave and Montello. The municipality is one of the smallest in the province by population, ranking third behind Portobuffolé and Monfumo.
The area is notable for its viticulture and is crossed by the Prosecco and Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Hills Wine Road, which was established in 1966. Refrontolo is specifically famous for the production of Marzemino wine. Additionally, as of July 7, 2019, the hills of Refrontolo have been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the designation of The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
