Posina is a town located in the province of Vicenza within the Veneto region of Italy. Situated northeast of the SS46, the municipality sits at an elevation of 600 metres (2,000 ft) at the foot of Mount Majo, Mount Gamonda, and Mount Pasubio. As of 2007, the town had an estimated population of 657 residents.
The area is characterized by its proximity to Mount Pasubio, which can be accessed via several routes including Val Caprara, Val Sorapache, or passo Xomo on the Strada degli Scarubbi. It is also notable for its location near the Strada delle 52 gallerie, a significant work of military engineering from the First World War.
