Monselice is a town and municipality (comune) situated in northeastern Italy within the Veneto region. It is located in the province of Padua, approximately 20 kilometres southwest of the city of Padua, at the southern edge of the Euganean Hills.
The town is positioned on a wide plain and is noted for its scenic location featuring an old castle ruin situated upon a hill. From this vantage point, the area offers views of the surrounding landscape, including the distant horizon toward Venice.
