Melara is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Rovigo within the Veneto region of Italy. It is situated approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) southwest of Venice and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) west of Rovigo.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 17.6 square kilometres (6.8 mi2) with a population of 1,927 residents.
