Conegliano is a town and comune located in the Veneto region of Italy, within the province of Treviso. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres north of the town of Treviso by rail. As of September 30, 2017, the municipality had a population of 35,023 people.
The town is characterized by the remains of a 10th-century castle situated on a hill overlooking the area. Formerly owned by the Bishop of Vittorio Veneto, the site currently features outer walls and a bell tower that houses a small museum. Additionally, the region is notable for its cultural significance; on July 7, 2019, Le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene was officially inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
