Cittadella

Cittadella is a medieval walled city located in the province of Padua in northern Italy. It was originally founded during the 13th century to serve as a military outpost for the city of Padua.

The city is characterized by its surrounding defensive wall, which has been restored and measures 1,461 metres (4,793 ft) in circumference with a diameter of approximately 450 metres (1,480 ft). The fortifications feature four gates positioned roughly at the points of the compass.
