Buttapietra is a comune located in the Province of Verona within the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of the city of Verona and about 110 kilometres (68 mi) west of Venice.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 17.2 square kilometres (6.6 mi2) with a recorded population of 6,195 residents.
