Spello

Spello is an ancient town and comune located in the province of Perugia in eastern-central Umbria, Italy. Situated on the lower southern flank of Monte Subasio, the town is positioned approximately 6 km (4 mi) north-northwest of Foligno and 10 km (6 mi) south-southeast of Assisi.

The municipality is recognized as one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia, a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
