Foligno is an ancient town located in the province of Perugia in east central Umbria, Italy. It is situated on the Topino river at the point where it leaves the Apennines and enters the wide plain of the Clitunno river system.
The city is positioned approximately 40 kilometres south-east of Perugia, 10 kilometres north-north-west of Trevi, and 6 kilometres south of Spello.
