Costacciaro is a comune (municipality) located in the Province of Perugia within the Italian region of Umbria. It is situated approximately 40 km northeast of the city of Perugia.
The settlement is characterized as a medieval town. Historically, it was governed by the cities of Perugia and Gubbio before transitioning to become part of the Papal States during the 15th century.
