Villabassa, also known as Niederdorf, is a municipality located in the region of South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres (43 miles) northeast of the city of Bolzano.
The town serves as a local administrative and residential center within the mountainous landscape of the Italian Alps. It is characterized by its position in the Val Pusteria, a valley known for its distinct cultural heritage and alpine geography.
