Silandro, known as Schlanders in German, is a comune and village situated in the province of Bolzano within the region of South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is located approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) west of the city of Bolzano.
The municipality serves as a local settlement in the mountainous landscape of the Italian Alps, characterized by its position in the heart of the South Tyrolean region.
