Sarntal is a valley and a comune located in the South Tyrol region of northern Italy. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres north of the city of Bolzano.
The municipality comprises several different towns and villages. The largest of these settlements is Sarnthein, which serves as the seat of the mayor and the local council.
