Moena is a village and comune located in the Trentino region of northern Italy, within the autonomous province of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It is situated approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of the city of Trento.
The municipality serves as the largest comune in the Fassa Valley. A significant cultural characteristic of the area is its linguistic heritage; according to the 2001 census, 75.6% of the population identified Ladin as their native language.
