Lavis is a comune located in the Trentino province of the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It is situated approximately 9 kilometres north of the city of Trento.
As of December 31, 2006, the municipality encompassed an area of 12.4 square kilometres and had a population of 9,000 residents.
