Laives, also known as Leifers, is a town and comune located in the province of South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is situated approximately 8 kilometres south of the city of Bolzano.
The municipality is notable for being one of only six mainly Italian-speaking municipalities within the province of South Tyrol. Additionally, Laives ranks as the fourth-largest municipality in the province.
