Fondo was a comune located in the Trentino region of northern Italy, within the autonomous province of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It was situated approximately 40 kilometres north of Trento, specifically at the northern limit of the Val di Non.
The municipality bordered several other areas, including Brez, Castelfondo, Malosco, Ronzone, Sarnonico, Eppan, and Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde-St. Felix. On 1 January 2020, Fondo merged with the municipalities of Castelfondo and Malosco to form the new comune of Borgo d'Anaunia.
