Canal San Bovo is a comune (municipality) located in the Trentino province within the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It is situated approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) north-east of the city of Trento.
The area is characterized as a typical alpine village. Historically, Canal San Bovo was a possession of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from 1401 until 1918.
