Besenello

Besenello is a comune (municipality) situated in the Trentino province of the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It is located approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of the city of Trento and sits at the entrance of the Vallagarina valley.

The municipality is notable for its historical architecture, most significantly Castel Beseno, which stands as the largest fortified structure in Trentino. Other key landmarks include the Romanesque church of Sant'Agata.
