Vaiano is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Prato within the Tuscany region of Italy. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of the city of Prato and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Florence.
The municipality has a population of 9,912 inhabitants. It serves as a residential and administrative area located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.
