San Godenzo is a comune, or municipality, located in the Italian region of Tuscany. It is situated within the Metropolitan City of Florence and is positioned approximately 35 kilometres (22 miles) northeast of the city of Florence.
The town is geographically located in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines mountain range. It serves as a local administrative division within its respective metropolitan area.
