Pistoia

Pistoia is a city and comune located in the Tuscany region of Italy. It serves as the capital of the province of Pistoia and is situated approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) north-west of Florence. The city is crossed by the Ombrone Pistoiese, which is a tributary of the River Arno.

Characterized as a typical Italian medieval city, Pistoia attracts many tourists, particularly during the summer months. Beyond its historical architecture, the city is well-known throughout Europe for its plant nurseries.
