Chitignano is a comune, or municipality, located in the Province of Arezzo within the Tuscany region of Italy. It is situated approximately 50 kilometres east of Florence and about 20 kilometres north of Arezzo.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality covered an area of 14.7 square kilometres and had a population of 996 residents.
