Certaldo is a town and comune located in the Tuscany region of Italy. Situated within the Metropolitan City of Florence, it lies in the middle of the Valdelsa area.
The town is positioned approximately 35 kilometres southwest of the Florence Cathedral and is reachable by rail from Siena in about 40 minutes.
