Capoliveri is a comune, or municipality, located on the island of Elba in Italy. It is situated within the Province of Livorno in the Tuscany region. Geographically, it lies approximately 130 kilometres (81 mi) southwest of Florence and about 90 kilometres (56 mi) south of Livorno.
The name Capoliveri first appeared in a historical document from the Republic of Genoa. It serves as one of the administrative divisions of the island, contributing to the local governance and regional identity of the Tuscan coastline.
