Villabate is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Palermo within the autonomous island region of Sicily, Italy. It is situated approximately 8 kilometres southeast of the city of Palermo.
The municipality covers an area of 3.80 square kilometres and has a population of 19,380 residents. Due to its high population density relative to its size, Villabate is recognized as the most densely populated municipality in Sicily.
