Santa Teresa di Riva is a small town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Messina in Sicily, southern Italy. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) from the town of Taormina.
The municipality was originally known as Marina di Savoca until it was renamed in 1854 to honor Teresa d'Austria. The town is bordered by Furci Siculo and Roccalumera to the northeast, Savoca to the west, and Sant'Alessio Siculo and the mountainous Forza d'Agrò to the southwest.
