Riesi is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Province of Caltanissetta within the Italian region of Sicily. It is located approximately 110 kilometres southeast of Palermo and about 20 kilometres south of the city of Caltanissetta.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 66.6 square kilometres and had a recorded population of 11,678 residents.
