Randazzo is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Catania in Sicily, southern Italy. It is situated at the northern foot of Mount Etna, approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of the city of Catania.
The town is notable for its proximity to the volcano, as it serves as the nearest town to the summit of Mount Etna. Consequently, Randazzo is one of the primary points from which the ascent of the mountain may be made.
