Piana degli Albanesi is a town and comune located in Sicily, Italy. It is situated on a mountainous plateau surrounded by high mountains on the eastern side of Mount Pizzuta. The city is characterized by its location near a large lake.
The municipality is positioned approximately 24 kilometres (15 miles) from Palermo and is administered as part of the Metropolitan City of Palermo. As of 2018, the comune had a population of 6,128 residents.
