Petralia Soprana is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Palermo within the Italian region of Sicily. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) southeast of the regional capital, Palermo.
The municipality covers an area of 56.8 square kilometres (21.9 mi2). As of December 31, 2004, Petralia Soprana had a recorded population of 3,630 residents.
