Noto is a city and comune located in the Province of Syracuse on the island of Sicily, Italy. Situated at the foot of the Hyblaean Mountains, it lies approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi) southwest of the city of Syracuse.
The city serves as the namesake for the surrounding region known as Val di Noto. In 2002, both the city and its church were officially declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
