Nicolosi is a comune, or municipality, located in the Metropolitan City of Catania within the Italian region of Sicily. It is situated approximately 160 kilometres (99 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Catania.
The town serves as a local administrative center in the eastern portion of the island, positioned in close proximity to the city of Catania.
