Montalbano Elicona is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Messina within the Italian region of Sicily. It is situated on the Nebrodi mountains at the border with the Peloritani range, positioned approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) southwest of Messina and about 150 kilometres (93 mi) east of Palermo.
