Mineo is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Catania within the region of Sicily, Italy. It serves as a municipality situated in the southeastern portion of the island.
The town is positioned approximately 64 kilometres southwest of Catania and 22 kilometres from Caltagirone. It also lies roughly 56 kilometres from Ragusa and 54 kilometres from Gela.
