Militello in Val di Catania is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Catania within the Italian region of Sicily. Geographically, it is situated on the final slopes of the Hyblaean Mountains, positioned approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of Catania and about 160 kilometres (99 mi) southeast of Palermo.
The municipality features a railway station on the Catania-Caltagirone-Gela line. It is also recognized as one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia," a designation highlighting its status as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
