Mascali is a comune, or municipality, located in the Metropolitan City of Catania within the Italian region of Sicily. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Catania and about 170 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo.
The town serves as a local administrative center within its metropolitan district, positioned in the eastern portion of the island.
