Alcamo is a town and municipality located in the northwestern region of Sicily, Italy. It serves as the fourth-largest municipality within the Province of Trapani, with a recorded population of 44,925 inhabitants.
Geographically, Alcamo is situated on the border of the Metropolitan City of Palermo. It is positioned approximately 50 kilometres (31 miles) from both the city of Palermo and the city of Trapani.
