Villanova Monteleone is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Sassari within the Italian region of Sardinia. It is situated approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Sassari and about 150 kilometres (93 mi) northwest of Cagliari.
As of December 31, 2004, the municipality encompassed an area of 202.2 square kilometres (78.1 mi2) with a recorded population of 2,528 residents.
