Villamassargia is a town and comune located in the Province of Sulcis Iglesiente within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres west of Cagliari and about 20 kilometres northeast of Carbonia.
The municipality has a population of 3,278 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center in the western portion of the island.
