Tertenia is a town and comune located in the Province of Ogliastra within the autonomous island region of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated approximately 100 kilometres northeast of Cagliari and about 25 kilometres south of Tortolì.
The municipality has a population of 3,834 inhabitants. As a local administrative division in the Sardinian interior, it serves as a residential and civic center for its surrounding area.
