Sinnai is a comune, or municipality, located in the Italian region of Sardinia. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and is situated approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of the city of Cagliari.
The municipality has a population of 17,364 inhabitants. It serves as one of the local administrative divisions within the metropolitan area of the region's capital.
